About the Club
Your Home Away From Home...
The Dayton Country Club was established in 1897, and is the oldest continuously operating Club west of the Alleghenies. It is located south of downtown Dayton, on a 126-acre oasis just minutes from the center of the city. Amenities, at Dayton Country Club, feature an 18-hole Donald Ross designed golf course, driving range, and indoor teaching facility for lessons in winter. The golf facilities provide a full-service golf pro shop attended by two golf professionals and complete locker room services. Our two outdoor swimming pools offer summer activities from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool facilities are complete with bathhouse, full-service patio dining area as well as a snack bar. For the tennis enthusiast, we provide four clay tennis courts with activities for both adults and juniors, two platform tennis courts, and a racquet pro shop. Inside the clubhouse, we staff four full-service restaurants, offering both casual and formal ambiance. The banquet facilities, whether for a business meeting or that very special occasion, seat up to 300 comfortably. Our very popular South Terrace offers seasonal dining with a breathtaking view of our outstanding golf course.
